Dear Participants and Chess Friends,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you once again to Paris for the European Corporate Chess Championship.
This event has become a special part of the European chess calendar. It brings together people from leading companies across Europe, alongside grandmasters and international masters, giving them the chance to compete seriously at the chessboard while also meeting people they might never otherwise have had the opportunity to meet.
That is what makes this championship different. Chess has a remarkable ability to bring people together, regardless of their profession, position or nationality. Once the game begins, we all face the same challenge: to think, to make decisions and, hopefully, to find the right move.
Paris is a wonderful place for such an event. I hope that, alongside the competition, you will have time to enjoy the city, continue conversations away from the chessboard and make new friendships and connections.
I would like to thank all the companies and teams for joining us, and especially the organisers, partners and everyone working behind the scenes to make the championship possible.
I wish you fair play, exciting games and a memorable time together.
Welcome to Paris, and good luck to all the teams!
Zurab Azmaiparashvili
President
